Introducing Custom HTML Forms for Woobox Promotions

Customizing your Woobox entry pages is now only limited by your imagination.  By using our new HTML Form option, you can replace our standard forms with your own completly custom input forms.  You can use any input fields you like, require them, and set custom error messages.   All user input will be automatically stored in the Woobox export file for your promotion.  You can still use all of our great viral features with custom forms such as bonus entries when friends enter, multi-page required liking, bonus entries for liking, and more.  The first campaign run with this new feature was the “Postcard from South Africa” Sweepstakes by South African Airways (shown below).  If you’d like to see some live examples …

FormGate: Custom HTML Forms for your Facebook Page Tabs

Earlier this year, we introduced a feature called FriendGate for Custom Tabs, and this week we’re happy to announce another gating option: FormGate.  This new feature allows you to require visitors to complete an input form before accessing your tab content.  It can be used with or without turning on FriendGate and/or FanGate.   We’re offering FormGate for Free through November 2011.  Afterwards it will be part of the Woobox Plus plan.

You can create your FormGate page from the Tab Settings of your custom tab.   Form inputs are entered using HTML, but can be customized using the WYSIWYG Editor.  As with many of our apps and features, FormGate collects and stores the submitted data for you.  You can view a …

WYSIWYG Editor now in our Facebook Custom Page Tab App

You no longer have to type HTML source code to edit your custom Facebook page tabs.  We’ve added a WYSIWYG editor as an option when you’re setting up your page tab using our Static IFRAME Tab app.  You can easily switch between Source and Editor mode depending on your preference.  You can also use the new Open in new window option at the top to give yourself plenty of room for your HTML editing.  If you haven’t tried it yet you can install a page tab here.
